A HALLOWEEN treat will be in store for children taking part in a sponsored walk as part of Secret World's Brean 14 event on October 30.

Owners of Sundowner Café Bar, husband and wife Sarah and Adam Tinsley, will be holding pumpkin carving and other fun activities at their café, in Coast Road, Brean, which is at the half way point of the walk.

Sarah, aged 37, said: “We thought it would be fun to give the youngsters a Halloween treat to look forward to and to spur them on for the first 3km”.

Sarah and Adam first met at a Weston restaurant where he was the manager and she was the chef. They took over the café bar in July and have really enjoyed their first three months in business.

Secret World founder Pauline Kidner said she was delighted the couple were getting involved with Brean 14.

She said: “Now we are looking for as many fundraising volunteers as possible to register for the 6km walk and 14km run along Brean Sands”.

Entry is £10 for adults and £5 for those under 16. Groups and companies wishing to register more than 10 people should call the fundraising team on 01278 783 250.
