RESIDENTS across North Somerset are being asked to have their say on plans to improve the network of public paths across the district.The authority has just published its draft Rights of Way Improvement Plan and now wants comments from the public.The plan aims to set out the actions needed to improve the local rights of way network to meet the needs of users and integrate rights of way with other transport planning.It also plans to guide forward planning and development to safeguard and improve the network and ensure the work needed is included in funding bids.Copies of the draft improvement plan can be viewed and a comment sheet is available at all North Somerset's libraries. It is also available on the council's website at www.n-somerset.gov.uk under transport and public rights of way.The consultation period runs until December 29 and comments can be e-mailed to prowipcomments@n-somerset.gov.uk
