THE people of Portishead are being invited to have their say on plans to build a new supermarket in the town. An application has been submitted to North Somerset Council by Sainsbury's, who want to build a 33,000 sq ft store on land in Serbert Way.

A two day exhibition will take place at Somerset Hall in High Street on Friday between 1pm - 6pm and on Saturday between 10am - 4pm where members of Sainsbury's development team will be on hand to discuss the plans and respond to any questions.
