SEDGEMOOR District Council is hoping to get residents to explore their countryside while becoming more physically active.

The council has launched a programme of Health Walks in the district, which run from January to March.

One beginner and two intermediate walks are planned every week, which will be led by trained volunteer leaders.

For more information about the walks or how to become a leader, visit www.sedgemoor.gov.uk/healthwalks
