Hearing adjourned for Clarence Park cafe arsonist

THE hearing for the teenager who pleaded guilty to arson and burglary of Clarence Park café has been adjourned.

Nathan Cross, aged 18, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to stealing food and deliberately setting fire to the café on Walliscote Road between August 26 and August 30.

Cross has been remanded in custody until October 17, as he needs to be assessed for mental health issues.
