A NEW exhibition has flown in to the Helicopter Museum and has brought with it a slice of Hollywood glamour.

The museum’s At The Movies exhibition shows how important rotorcrafts have been in box office smash-hits, from the black and white classics to the latest modern blockbusters.

Aircrafts which have had starring roles will be on display, including a section of The Beatles Helicopter featured in
A Hard Day’s Night and the
helicopter parts from Tom Cruise’s latest science fiction film Edge Of Tomorrow.

Museum manager Lee Mills said: “This display really brings our collection to life, marks its unique relevance to popular culture and grants visitors a whole new perspective to their visit.”

The exhibition will run until the beginning of May.
