GRAVESTONES: Kewstoke Parish Council is seeking advice over the laying down of gravestones in its churchyard.

About 55 of the memorial structures were laid flat by North Somerset Council due to health and safety reasons.

Councillors in the village are now seeking advice from Hutton Parish Council, which found itself in a similar position several years ago. The cost of the repairs could reach £10,000 and a grant will need to be sought to help pay the bill.
