THE organisers of a festive charity fun run are desperately looking for more marshals to help them.
Weston Athletic Club's Christmas Cracker Race will take place on December 9 in aid of Weston Hospiceare.
The 10km run, due to have as many as 1,700 entrants, will take people along Weston's beach from the Grand Pier, through Uphill, past Weston General Hospital and back again.
However, another 20 people are needed to help marshal the event and support participants.
If anyone can spare a few hours from 9.30am-1pm they can call Weston Hospicecare's Penny Beare on 01934 423921.
The race is being held for the fourth year running and to date it has raised more than £25,000 for the Weston-based charity.
