A MAN has been jailed for trying to sell heroin and cocaine in Weston-super-Mare.
James Beckett, of Birmingham, was arrested on September 30 after officers found 44 wraps of heroin in a garden in Clarendon Road.
Officers later recovered another nine wraps of heroin and five wraps of cocaine.
The 23-year-old was sentenced to 28 months in prison for possession with intent to supply heroin and cocaine at a hearing at Bristol Crown Court on December 22.
Neighbourhood Sergeant Colin Batchelor said: “We’re working with our communities and partner agencies to make Weston a better place for everyone, and targeting drug crime is an important part of that work.”
