AN AWARD-WINNING director will soon sign on the dotted line to lead the film about Highbridge war hero Frank Foley. Producer Timothy Haas has confirmed that Hungarian Istvan Szabo will be directing the film when the cameras start rolling in Hungary, London and Highbridge. Timothy said: "We chose Hungary for the main location as the buildings make an ideal back-drop to World War Two. "We would also like to film in London and Highbridge but we cannot confirm any locations yet."I am obviously very excited about Istvan Szabo's interest. He is a wonderful director. We are now mapping out the cast members and have had keen interest about the two main roles, Frank and Kay Foley, but I cannot say for definite who will be involved."Frank Foley helped Jewish people escape from Nazi Germany during World War Two and became known as 'the man who saved 10,000 jews'. The film of his life will be called The Inside Outside Man. Timothy is still embroiled in a legal battle with MI6, which holds documents about Foley's allie Paul Rosbaud. A hearing this summer will decide whether the files can be released in total or in part.
