A social club has unveiled new darts facilities following investment.

Highbridge Social Club, in Church Street, has also installed new safety equipment to ensure it meets legislation.

Through donations from the club’s sports teams, the facility has made improvements to its darts facilities.

Chris Lambert, manager of the social club, said: “I would like to thank the bingo, darts and skittles teams for their support again this season.

“Also, I would like to thank the members who gave donations towards the upgrade of the smoke alarms and fire doors.”

The venue has also installed new signage declaring it ‘The Home Of Darts’.

The club’s owners hope the investment will attract more people in the area to play darts.

Highbridge Social Club, built in 1914, is a not-for-profit organisation run by its members.
