IT’S time to cool off for a charity fundraiser as firefighters hose down her feet.
Head of fundraising at Children’s Hospice South West, Karen Edgington, was cooled down by firefighters to mark the launch of registration for the charity’s sponsored fire walk.
The charity is inviting people to sign up to take part for the event on October 20 at Weston beach next to the SeaQuarium.
Karen said: “I am a believer that if we ask other people to do something to raise money for the charity then we should be prepared to do it too.
“I am proud to be the first person to sign up for the fire walk in Weston.”
