Housing appeal inquiry set
PUBLISHED: 14:00 25 March 2016
A date has been set for the Government planning inspectorate to consider a 155-home housing development.
Gladman Developments Ltd is looking to build the houses on fields south of Knightcott Road in Banwell.
It submitted an application to North Somerset Council in December 2014 but the council took more than a year to make a decision so Gladman appealed to Westminster planners to intervene.
All the evidence from both sides of the debate has now been submitted to the appeal tribunal.
The appeal has now been adjourned until the inquiry on September 20 at 10am at the Town Hall in Walliscote Grove Road, Weston.
