HUNDREDS of guests packed a marquee near Weston for a charity event which was organised by Somerset party planners.

A total of £500 was raised for Weston Hospicecare at the evening, set up by Inspiral Parties.

Businessman Richard Twort, of Mirage Interiors Limited, hosted the night and Inspiral Parties work in partnership with Weston Hospicecare.

Georgina Hunter, of Inspiral Parties, said: “Mr Twort was keen to support a local charity and guests were encouraged to make a donation to the local charity in return for drinks.”

Sarah Livermore from Weston Hospicecare said: “This is a wonderful example of local people and businesses coming together to support a local charity, which the hospice relies heavily on.”
