Hundreds to take part in aerobathon

LEISURE centres in Portishead and Clevedon will be filled with hundreds of people taking part in an aerobathon for the NSPCC.

LEISURE centres in Portishead and Clevedon will be filled with hundreds of people taking part in an 'aerobathon' for the NSPCC.

On February 8, the national children's charity will put on a UK-wide event to raise money for the Child's Voice Appeal, which is aimed at expanding the South West ChildLine call centre in Exeter.

At Portishead's Parish Wharf and Clevedon's Strode Leisure Centre's a sponsored two-hour workout will be led by qualified instructors from 6-8pm.

This will include a range of different types of exercise such as steps, body pump and circuits.

The same will be happening at 150 centres across the country at the same time.
