Villagers have gathered to enjoy live music and food in celebration of all things Fairtrade.

Hutton Village Hall, in Main Road, hosted a Big Brew event to raise awareness of the global social movement.

Visitors were able to wander round a number of stalls selling everything from chocolate and coffee, to T-shirts and bags.

Pupils from Hutton Primary School were also in attendance to perform for guests.

The school’s newest music group, Japanese Taiko drummers, thrilled the audience by playing their impressive instruments while dressed up in some traditional and colourful clothing.

Families were able to relax and enjoy drinks and some tasty food while learning all about why ethical trading is so important.
