Members of Hutton Junior Football Club’s under-12s team roped in some of their siblings to enter the Bath Pretty Muddy Kids Race for Life.

The youngsters crawled through a mud pit and clambered over obstacles to compete the fun-packed challenge, which was held at Bath Racecourse

Members of the junior football club, and their families, raised £1,874 – knocking the total up to £2,574 with gift aid.

Event organiser Jodi Wills said: “The conditions were terrible, it was raining, windy and extremely cold but not one of them moaned.
