A barn dance will be held in Hutton on Friday.

The dance, led by the Highly Strung Community Band, is set to raise money for Crohn’s and Colitis UK.

The charity funds research into inflammatory bowel disease, and supports people who have it.

It says the dance is an important fundraiser.

The event will take place in Hutton Village Hall, in Main Road, on Friday from 7-10.30pm.

People are welcome to take their own picnic and drinks, including alcohol.

People are also encouraged to wear Stetson hats and check shirts to add to the atmosphere.

Entry costs £10 for adults and is £5 for children.

Tickets are available on the door, by calling 07876 404970, by emailing or online at
