A FREE event to offer advice and celebrate the diversity of North Somerset will be held in Weston.

A FREE event to offer advice and celebrate the diversity of North Somerset will be held in Weston.

The aim of the occasion is to provide information and advice on provisions available from the council, police, health services and a range of other groups offering advice on employment, housing and community safety.

There will also be an opportunity for visitors to enjoy tasting food from around the world and music and dance provided by members of North Somerset's diverse community and children's craft activities.

The event will take place at the Winter Gardens in Royal Parade from 12noon-4pm on January 24.
