Brent Knoll’s village fete was a huge success this year, with its medieval-themed market a big hit with visitors.
People dressed up in period attire and the fair’s stalls were decorated to match the theme.
The event took place on the village green and there were activities for all ages, including face-painting for children and dancing, live music and games to entertain both kids and adults.
King Alfred School, which is in Highbridge, got involved in the festivities when its school band entertained crowds.
Brent Knoll School’s dancers also made an appearance and wowed people from the village alongside the Chalice Morris Men who danced throughout the afternoon.
A large cuddly lion was donated to the event by Penny Bull, and it was used as the prize in the ‘guess the name’ competition at the fete.
