A Burn’s Night celebration was held in aid of the RNLI.

Tartan was all the rage for the fundraiser, which took place at the Commodore Hotel in Beach Road, Kewstoke.

The final total has not been confirmed yet, but organiser Mo Tyson hopes it has raised around £1,000.

She said: “It was very successful. We had two pipers from Bristol, who were excellent, and we have already booked for next year.”

Guests were treated to a performance by Lipinski, a raffle and a four-course meal.
