Rows and rows of vintage vehicles lined Weston’s Beach Lawns at the weekend, as the town’s Pageant of Transport returned.

The Easter weekend saw car enthusiasts head out in their droves to admire vans, cars, scooters and even steam engines on display at the event.

Vehicles dating back to the 1940s and 1950s, and some quirky-looking cars from the 1970s and 1980s, impressed people visiting the seafront.

Crosville Motor Services also got involved in the pageant, and the company’s managing director Jon Jones-Pratt was on hand to tell people about Crosville’s vintage steam traction engine.

Rare vehicles – including an Austin commercial van and a Morris Minor police car – could also be spotted.

Some motoring enthusiasts even gave people a glimpse inside of their prized cars, by stripping down engines while passers-by looked on.
