STAFF at a Portishead playgroup came up with the perfect solution after snow and ice put a stop to all outdoor play.

STAFF at a Portishead playgroup came up with the perfect solution after snow and ice put a stop to all outdoor play.

They turned the classroom at Brampton Pre-school into a play park.

Tables and chairs were cleared away to make room for climbing frames and slides so that the youngsters could get physical in a safe and warm environment.

Supervisor Rose Skuse said: "We couldn't let something like the weather stop the children exploring our Let's Get Physical topic and they were just as happy climbing around inside as they would be outside.
