Injured after New Year assault

A MAN was left with facial injuries after being assaulted in Nailsea on New Year's Eve.

A MAN was left with facial injuries after being assaulted in Nailsea on New Year's Eve.

The 21-year-old was cycling along High Street between 10-10.30pm when a man ran at him and punched him in the face.

He was left with injuries including a black eye and a missing tooth.

The offender is described as white, about 6ft tall, of large build and with a bald head.

Police believe there may have been lots of people in the area at the time.
