IPADS could be on their way to a Somerset care home after a fundraising supper raised money towards a fund for new kit for residents.

Frith House (Somersetcare) care home in Steart Drive, Burnha, held a harvest supper and raised £292 towards future purchases for residents including the Apple tablets.

Home manager Vicki Mitchel said: “We raised £292 on our supper event. Residents, relatives and staff enjoyed the event and entertainment. Monies are going towards residents amenity fund where we are saving for iPads so residents can enjoy interaction with technology.”
