KEEN gardeners have the chance to show off their beautiful blooms in a competition as part of the Flower Power campaign.A contest to find the best garden in the Weston area, organised by the town's horticultural society, is open to members and non-members.First prize for the event is £50, second prize £30 and third prize £20. There will also be a £10 voucher and trophy available for each of the best small, medium and large gardens as well as the best mobile home gardens.Judging will take place on the week beginning July 17.Flower Power is an initiative organised by Weston Tourism and Weston Town Council and supported by the Weston & Somerset Mercury.Entry forms can be obtained from Bert Filer on 01934 514057 or from Weston Horticultural Society's trading hut in Rectors Way, off Drove Road, any Saturday or Sunday from 9.30am-12.30pm.Awards will be presented at Weston Flower Show on August 13.
