WEDMORE Street Fair, the history of which dates back to the 13th century, will take place on July 2.
The event, which will run from 10am-3.30pm, is descended from annual markets which were granted in the village by King Henry III.
The Borough will be closed to traffic throughout the fair, with the majority of the funds raised going towards the village hall.
As well as stalls, there will be a pig roast, a French café, a Pimms bar, while this year’s theme is ‘the island’.
