WINGED and scaly beasts have taken over a classroom in Clevedon as pupils learn about Greek mythology.

Creative youngsters from All Saints Primary School, in All Saints Lane, have been making their own imaginary beasts and creatures.

The children used clay, Lego, feathers and even a dustbin to produce their own winged and scaly monsters.

Class teacher, Emily Downing, said: "I'm very proud of the children as they really took hold of the idea and produced some fantastic results."

The monsters have now taken over the classroom and are inspiring the children to come up with their own legends starring their scary creations.
