WHILE the Christmas and New Year holiday break may be a time for rest and relaxation, over-eating and keeping warm under a blanket, that did not stop the people of Weston – and our wonderful iwitness contributors – from getting cold and soggy on the seafront.
We have had a flurry of beautiful photos sent in of the crisp and cold fields, the brightly-lit town and of some seafront sunsets during the winter months. But we have also had some traditional Christmas and New Year traditions snapped on camera, which includes groups of people in fancy dress plunging into the icy waters of Marine Lake.
Natasha Moss and Peter Elston were some of the photographers out on that frosty morning, grabbing the best shots of people in tutus and wigs diving into the water.
