Archant

A SELL-OUT show in Churchill proved a big hit on Saturday.

The well-known talented daughter of Jonny Dankworth and Dame Cleo Laine, singer Jacqui Dankworth, entertained about 300 people at the village community school.

The event was organised by the Churchill Music! charity, which promotes live music in a bid to enrich the lives of children and adults alike.

The Jacqui Dankworth Quartet performed a mix of jazz tunes and there was not a spare seat to be had.
