ONE of Weston Hospicecare’s most adventurous fund-raising events has been captured on film.
Footage of last year’s Jailbreak, which raised £7,000 for the charity, has been edited by Burnham movie company Film Tank and posted on YouTube.
The event sees teams of two or more people escape from Burnham Police Station cells and try to get as far away as possible within 24 hours – but without spending a single penny.
This year’s Jailbreak takes place from April 23-24 and the hospice has its fingers crossed that the film will encourage more people to sign up.
Mike Howard, film director, said: “We’re all aware of the work Weston Hospicecare does, and how important it is for people in the Burnham and Weston areas.
“We followed two teams at last year’s event, and it was a fantastic adventure, following the highs and lows and the excitement of wondering where we could end up.”
The footage can be viewed by typing Weston Hospicecare jailbreak into YouTube.
