WESTON’S Helicopter Museum has welcomed a new Italian import.

The museum in Locking Moor Road has taken delivery of a JetRanger helicopter built in September 1974 for the use of the Italian police, the Carabinieri.

The five-seat aircraft was one of the first helicopter designs to introduce aerodynamic styling, and the JetRanger has appeared in no less than four James Bond movies.

It was given to the museum by Agusta Westland in Italy.
