JAMIE Oliver got hooked by the charms of North Somerset as he went fishing at Blagdon-based firm Yeo Valley.

The television chef was attending a catch and cook event held by the dairy company at Blagdon Lake alongside friend and fellow chef Gennaro Contaldo on May 16.

The duo netted six trout at the fly fishing event, with Gennaro bagging the biggest catch of the day – a 3lb 4oz fish.
