A NEW rose has been named in memory of Children's Hospice South West co founder Jill Farwell. The Jill Farwell Rose has been grown especially for the charity thanks to a partnership between Sanders GardenWorld at Brent Knoll and national grower Paul Chessum Roses.Jill, who founded the charity with husband Eddie, died two years ago following a brave battle with cancer.Children's Hospice South West (CHSW) is currently building its second hospice at Charlton Farm, Wraxall. The hospice, which is costing £15 million, is due to open in Spring next year. The unscented patio rose, which was named by staff at the charity's first hospice Little Bridge House, grows to approximately 45 cm high and has mid green foliage and pink flowers.Hundreds of the bare root plants will be available at £6.99 with £2 from each sale going directly to CHSW.Sanders GardenWorld managing director Peter Burks said: "If the bare root stock sells well, we will stock potted plants from January 2007 and these will be available for about £10.99 each with £3 per plant being donated to the charity."To place orders for the roses contact Sanders GardenWorld on 01278 761111 or visit www.sandersgardenworld.co.uk
