A charity fashion show has raised thousands of pounds for a cancer charity.

Karan Beynon hosted another fashion show this year to raise money for Dogs Detecting Cancer and she said she ‘could not be happier’ with how it went.

The show was held at The Commodore Hotel, in Beach Road, where more than 100 people arrived to show their support.

Karan said: “It went very well and we raised around £2,375 and counting.

“We held a massive raffle which included a Chanel purse, which sold for £155, and a £100 Marks & Spencer voucher.

“It was brilliant and people are already asking me when the next event will be.”

Casual, day, evening and formal clothes were

on sale, as well as a variety of designer clothes – which were

all donated.

Guests at the event were able to browse the racks and purchase the clothes after the final model took to the catwalk.
