BUDDING performers boosted careers at a day of activities and tuition at the weekend.

BUDDING performers boosted careers at a day of activities and tuition at the weekend.

Tightrope walking, plate-spinning and costume-making lessons were on offer at the DIY circus on Saturday at the United Reformed Church in Waterloo Street.

Face-painting and plenty of other activities kept the youngsters busy at the North Somerset Play Forum event, which was lead by children's entertainer Steve Apelt.
