A group of generous girl guides spent weeks making delicious treats and handmade items to raise money for two charities.
The 1st Locking Castle Guides has raised £240 for the RSPCA and Cancer Research.
The group of girls decided they wanted to do something for charity and chose the two causes themselves before brainstorming ideas of how to raise cash.
The guides made their own fudge and lip balms to sell as well as hosting a cake sale, a teddy bear sale and learning crochet to make crafty goods to sell. The children also played ‘guess how many sweets in the jar’ to raise money.
