WESTON General Hospital may have to pay out thousands of pounds in compensation after a number of botched knee operations.Almost 700 patients from Wales, who had surgery at Weston General Hospital's treatment centre as part of a scheme to reduce NHS waiting lists, were called in for check-ups after a number of them suffered complications.Solicitors are now warning the hospital could face legal action and compensation claims from patients who can prove their treatment was negligent.
