Landmark could be included in grand schemes

PUBLISHED: 11:00 27 January 2011

A WELL-KNOWN Weston landmark could be incorporated into the Tropicana or Dolphin Square developments.

North Somerset Council deputy leader, Councillor Elfan Ap Rees, is making inquiries as to where the clock, formerly of Pier Square, can go.

It is currently being safely stored away, but Cllr Ap Rees has asked whether it could be used in either of the large developments planned for the town.
