Police are investigating an aggravated burglary in Seabrook Road.

Police are appealing for witnesses after an aggravated burglary in Weston-super-Mare saw a homeowner threatened with a hammer and a ‘large amount of cash’ and a Rolex stolen.

The haul was taken from a property in Seabrook Road, which sits off Milton Road, on Sunday at around 6pm.

Two men forced their way into the property before threatening the victim and making off with cash and valuables in the direction of Spring Hill.

Avon and Somerset Constabulary said the ‘victim was shaken but didn’t suffer any physical injuries’.

A spokesman said: “Did you see or hear anything suspicious in the Spring Hill area around the time of this incident?

“Do you know anyone who’s come into possession of a large amount of money for no apparent reason?

“If you can help, please call investigations on 101 and give the call handler the reference number 5218004783.”
