MERCURY readers have the chance to tell their dads just how much they love them in a simple text message.

The Mercury is inviting people to send in messages for their fathers using their mobile phones and they will be printed in the paper in time for Father’s Day on June 17.

Messages must be sent to 80058 and start with the keywords WM Dad followed by your dad’s name and then your personal message.

The message can be a maximum of 25 words, including the name, but time is running out - messages must be received no later than 10am tomorrow (Thurs).

All messages will be included in the Mercury on June 14.

Messages will cost £1 plus the standard network charge.
