ABOUT 150 people turned up to a meeting to talk about how to slow down the traffic through their village.
Kewstoke Parish Council held a consultation to discuss introducing traffic calming measures in the area.
The new scheme is being considered in case North Somerset Council decides not to reintroduce fees on the toll road.
Parish council chairman Tony Morris said the meeting was a success with more than 100 surveys being filled out. The ideas which were generated have been handed to North Somerset Council officers for consideration.
No date has yet been set for another meeting between the parish council and representatives from the local authority.
