A dedicated fundraiser who has been working for a Weston-super-Mare charity for 50 years has been recognised for her commitment.

Eileen Teague has been a member of Weston General Hospital’s League of Friends for five decades, raising money for vital medical equipment.

She has also raised funds for items to make patients’ stays more comfortable.

She received an award for her long service by league chairman June Stephen and MP John Penrose.
