NEARLY £90,000 will be spent on refurbishing part of a popular leisure centre in Weston.
North Somerset Council planning on spending the cash on the reception area of Hutton Moor Leisure Centre.
The area has not been updated for 15 years and the work needs to be carried out to bring it in line with new disability laws.
The council owns the centre but Parkwood Leisure runs it and will contribute £40,000 to the cost of the work. Parkwood is also planning a revamp of the bar area and swimming pool changing rooms.
