Children, families and the community came together to celebrate at one of Weston-super-Mare's biggest community events.
The free 1,100 Lights evening at Clarence Park took place over the Halloween weekend.
People from around the town enjoyed fun activities, food and fireworks organised by St Paul’s Church as an alternative to more traditional Halloween events.
St Paul’s Church’s Alexander Jones said: “It was a magnificent celebration of light.
“Everything was bigger than before – more food, more fireworks, more music and more fun activities.”
The event featured live music, games, dancing and a spectacular firework finale, as well as a visit from a 7ft-tall hedgehog, courtesy of Worle and Priory schools.
Thousands of people visited the makeshift fairground to enjoy the festivities, take a ride on the merry-go-round and support the church’s community work.
