A FAMILY who lit up their home for the festive season has donated the proceeds to a worthy cause.
Leon Beckingham, of Shaftesbury Road in Weston, put up a dazzling 54 lights around his house in December and asked passers-by to make donations.
The money was presented to the Seashore Centre at Weston Area Health Trust and will be used to buy new oxygen units for the children's ward.
Leon and his children Shay, Nile and Sian presented a cheque for £220 to staff at the centre.
