ALL the fun of the fair came to a Worle pub when the owners came to the rescue of a group of volunteers after its charity fundraiser was washed out a week earlier.
Worle Lions Club had to call off its fun day at Baytree Rec on Bank Holiday Monday because of the heavy rain.
So, the owners of the Golden Lion in Worle High Street stepped forward to offer the group a place to hold an event on Saturday.
Families turned up to enjoy lots of games and take a look at the stalls that had set up at the watering hole.
Worle Lions raises money throughout the year for local causes.
