A WELL-KNOWN Weston bar-owner has seen his trial over a drugs charge adjourned until June after his defence barrister withdrew from the case.
Dragon Kiss owner Cam Mu, aged 41, of Brean Down Avenue, denies possessing cocaine in May last year.
He had been represented by a different defence in a previous hearing, and during a hearing last week questioned the contents of a form signed on his behalf by his then-counsel.
His new barrister, Nadeem Aullybocus, applied to have the form’s contents declared inadmissable from the trial, but the bench at North Somerset Courthouse refused on April 30, at which point Mr Aullybocus announced his withdrawal.
