THREE residents from a Weston homeless shelter last week enjoyed a trip to London as ambassadors for the charity which helps them.
Bethany Davis, Jo Cavaheiro and Billy Davis visited the capital with representatives of Santuary Carr-Gomm (SCG) which runs the town’s homeless foyer.
The trio were judged talent champions at the Foyer Federation, and enjoyed a dress rehearsal of the popular Cirque de Soleil production at the Royal Albert Hall, and sightseeing trips including the Natural History Museum.
Weston Foyer project worker Richard Baker said: “We all had a fantastic time in London and the show in the evening was spectacular.
“Bethany, Jo and Billy really deserved this opportunity for all the hard work they put in as ambassadors and talent champions and represented SCG extremely well.”
