DOZENS of schoolchildren were treated to a trip to Longleat courtesy of a Burrington-based charity.

Wrington Vale Rotary Club took 38 pupils from Axbridge, Banwell, Churchill, Congresbury, Hutton and Sandford out for the day.

They were part of a 700-strong trip to the Somerset safari park with children from Dorset, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire also taking part. The national Rotary Kids Day Out sees about 25,000 youngsters each year get treated to a day to remember.
